About Me

I was born and raised in Minnesota, but have lived in Colorado for just over a decade. I was a State Farm team member in Colorado Springs, CO, and worked primarily with business insurance and life insurance needs. Beginning January of 2021, I was chosen by State Farm to represent our brand throughout the city of Salida and surrounding areas as an agent. I have an amazing team and their hard work and dedication to our customers is a huge part of why this agency is successful. I look forward to getting to know more of our wonderful community and am so grateful for those I have met already. Our sincere passion for helping others and doing the right thing allows us to continue the legacy the founder of State Farm created.

Our team has a combined 55 years of experience working for State Farm!

Our agency opened in January of 2021. Starting as our agency opened the doors, Jaimie has been a huge asset to our team from day one! Jaimie joined the insurance world in August of 2020 working for State Farm with a wealth of knowledge in the customer service industry and has flourished with her insurance career ever since. Jaimie enjoys outdoor activities and adventure with her wonderful husband, little baby girl, and 2 puppies! She is on maternity leave and enjoying her new little one. We're excited to welcome her back in a few months!

Mid summer of 2021, we were able to add Marcus Scanga, a local gentleman who grew up here, to our crew. It is great to have a team member that knows so many of our wonderful customers and can tell us where to get the yummiest burger in town, or where the greatest hunting or fishing spots might be. His love for sports and hunting has helped us become more involved in the community and we are so grateful to have him.

November of 2021, we got an early Christmas present by the name of Becky! She joined us through the holidays last year and we're so grateful to have her positive spirit this year as well. Becky was new to the home and auto insurance industry but joined us with a ton of experience in customer service and marketing. She is a wonderful asset to the team and we love her creativity. She always has fun ideas to continue helping us get involved in our community.

Our newest team members started February and March of 2022. Meet Donald and Jacki!

Donald works for our agency remotely from Kansas and has worked with State Farm agents for 28 years. He started working for his brother, has run agencies for the company through retirement transitions, and worked for a very special agent by the name of Jim Hall for 10 years through Jim's retirement and passing. His passion for what he does is contagious, and we love having him on our team.

Jacki has worked for State Farm since 2004 and joined us this year to assist remotely from Longmont, CO. Creating relationships and building trust are what keeps her passion strong, and when she's not at work, she's most likely spending time with her granddaughter. Jacki's experience and dedication to the agency and our customers makes such a positive impact daily. We're thankful to have her on the team.
